Information about internships abroad in Tanzania
We offer various internship positions in Tanzania and on the island of Zanzibar. For example, you can register in the Tourism engage or a Orientation and nursing internship complete.
The internship abroad is possible at various locations in Tanzania, with the orientation program taking place one day in Dar es Salaam and one day at your project location. At most locations we run a volunteer house in which our participants share the common rooms. Depending on the location, accommodation with a local host family is also possible.
Our locations in Tanzania are spread across the country. Along the coast we focus on the economic center of Dar es Salaam and the port city of Mtwara. Inland we are active in picturesque Iringa and the bustling city of Arusha. A worthwhile alternative to the mainland is the island archipelago of Zanzibar. We also offer internships in various areas there. At each location you can optionally book a Swahili language course. The language course is intended to give you a jump-start so that you can find your way more quickly into your everyday life.
Experience a fascinating mix of different cultures in Tanzania and discover breathtaking national parks with an incomparable biodiversity! Go on safari and observe wildcats, giraffes, elephants, rhinos and zebras or walk in the footsteps of German-East African colonial history.
Another highlight of your stay abroad in Tanzania is undoubtedly a trip to the archipelago of Zanzibar with the pearly white palm beaches, the turquoise water and the beautiful old town of Stone Town, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
