Why you should volunteer as a caretaker
If you want to work as a caretaker abroad, you can use your manual skills where it is really needed. Because in our target countries there is often a lack of motivated and competent helpers. You will mainly support schools, kindergartens or other social institutions and do renovation and maintenance work there. With your technical expertise, you create a place for the people and children who go in and out there every day, where they can feel safe and comfortable. And this work can also be very fulfilling for you: on the one hand you do something good for others and on the other hand it is a great opportunity to gain new skills and experiences.
