What most birds have in common is their ability to fly - but there are some exceptions, such as ostriches, kiwis or penguins, which cannot fly.
Penguins are perfectly adapted to aquatic life with their ability to dive, making them an important indicator of the balance of marine ecosystems. Their conspecifics on land and in the air also play a major role in the environment by, among other things, spreading seeds and pollinating flowers.
However, various influences are causing these sensitive ecosystems to falter, which means that some bird species and penguins are threatened with extinction.

Requirements

In your project you will be instructed in various tasks and there are always experts on site who you can ask questions. You should have an interest in animal care and species protection and you should be fit and physically resilient.
