Volunteering in Sweden

When you volunteer in Sweden, you are primarily involved in animal welfare. Your activity will take place amidst the beautiful nature of the country. Since this is a project with animals and people, you should be animal-loving and socially competent. If you have worked with animals before, especially dogs, this is a good bonus but not a must. Furthermore, you should be motivated and actively help, because there is a lot to do. Your stay here will make a significant contribution to your growth as a person and to promoting your development and independence. You will make the acquaintance of kind-hearted people and their animals on site and collect great memories. The wonderful, deeply felt unity of humans, nature and animals will surely amaze and excite you.

Leisure opportunities in Sweden

Sweden offers many opportunities for varied leisure activities. There are many national parks here where you can discover numerous animals and plants, such as moose. In general, you will find many green spaces where you can relax and admire the beauty of nature. If, on the other hand, you are more in the mood for physical activity, you also have plenty of opportunities to do so here. For example, you can go canoeing, kayaking, skiing, hiking, swimming or rock climbing. If you are looking for fun and games, the amusement parks should be your first port of call. These have a wide range, because you can try out several rides, but also visit concerts.

In the capital Stockholm, which consists of one third of water, you can see numerous sights, but also fish and swim or stroll through one of the surrounding gardens and parks. The theme and adventure park in honor of the children's book author Astrid Lindgren offers the opportunity to take a detour into your childhood. Here you can relive many of their characters and stories, such as that of the cute Pippi Longstocking.
