Scholarship abroad: With funding abroad

Are you dreaming of a stay abroad and want to get involved in social projects? But a look in your wallet prevents you from implementing your plan? Then the RGV scholarship abroad is just right for you!

A longer stay abroad is always an exciting and special time: It may be the first time that you are far away from your family and your usual environment. But don't panic, because: During this time you can not only your improve language skills, but also collect lots of intercultural experiences and unforgettable impressions, become more cosmopolitan and gain independence. A real boost for yours personal development!

No wonder more and more teenagers and young adults want to fulfill their dream of an adventure abroad. However, for many, the stay abroad remains because of their financial opportunities an unfulfilled dream.

Rainbow Garden Village would like to promote this intercultural learning with a scholarship abroad and also make it possible for those who do not have the necessary financial means.

What is the RGV study abroad grant?

The RGV international scholarship is a Partial scholarship of 1500 €. This means that part of the costs of the entire stay abroad are covered. The partial scholarship is aimed at young adults who would like to combine a stay abroad with social commitment and who have a lower income, so that a stay abroad is often not possible for them.

What do I have to do to get a scholarship?

In order to receive the partial scholarship, you must first go through our application process. We then use a selection process to check whether you meet the required requirements.

In principle, you can apply if you

  • are still going to school, are in initial training or studying,
  • you are willing to also volunteer as a reporter
  • and you want to support a social project abroad.

Does everything apply to you? Then send us an email to info@rainbowgardenvillage.com with your desired departure period. In the e-mail you should include your current CV, a letter of motivation and letters of reference (if available).

We also need information about your own financial situation and that of your parents or legal guardians. We will send you two questionnaires that you must fill out truthfully and completely in order to qualify for the selection process.

Application deadlines for the scholarship

First registration period: July 1st to January 31st
Grant award: February
Project registration by the end of March at the latest; Departure possible between August and January

Second registration period: February 1st to June 30th
Grant award: July
Project registration by the end of August at the latest; Departure possible between February and July

>> The prerequisite for the partial scholarship is that the remaining amount can be financed by you, your parents or legal guardians. A payment or partial payment of the scholarship is not possible.
