Internship Medicine Tanzania

What's the matter?

With this medical internship abroad, we offer you the chance to gain valuable insights into the health care system in Tanzania! Regardless of whether you want to orientate yourself professionally or want to gain practical work insights while studying - a medical internship in Tanzania will enrich your wealth of experience!

In addition, you will improve your language skills, expand your intercultural skills and immerse yourself in life in Tanzania. A unique experience!

In the Tanzanian health system there are smaller, mostly private clinics, as well as classic state hospitals. The number of professionals and the standard of equipment varies depending on the type of facility. The former are more like larger doctor's offices than hospitals, but are of a relatively high standard. The state hospitals, which offer free treatment, are usually overwhelmed. This problem is mainly caused by a lack of staff and financial support.

As an intern, the overall lower standard can present you with a challenge. At the same time, this allows you to learn how to deal with difficult situations.
