With around 350.000 inhabitants, Windhoek is by far the largest city in Namibia and thus the hub of the Namibian population. Politics, economy and culture form the center of Namibia in Windhoek, the historic colonial architecture characterizes the cityscape. The standard of living in Windhoek is relatively high. The road network is well developed throughout Namibia, so you can travel comfortably.
During your internship abroad in Namibia we offer an international student house as accommodation. We attach great importance to the accommodation being as close as possible to the project. In some cases you can walk to the internship site. Most of the time, however, you will use public transport (taxi, very cheap), which allows you to travel flexibly during your time abroad in Namibia.
