The official languages are English and Swahili, but a total of over 40 languages are spoken. Nine national parks and several wildlife reserves protect the diverse flora and fauna, which is home to the rare mountain gorilla, for example. During your internship in Uganda, you can go on trips to Lake Victoria, the White Nile or - if you are enthusiastic about hiking and mountaineering - to the Rwenzori Mountains on the Congo border. Thanks to the pleasant climate, which brings daily temperatures between 25-35°C all year round, Uganda is always suitable for travel.
