Who is volunteering in an Eco Village suitable for?
If you want to embrace an ecological lifestyle and immerse yourself in nature, an Eco Village is a good idea! You should be willing to do without certain things, such as plastic or sometimes electricity, and get to know a new everyday life. You will certainly learn a lot and develop yourself personally.
Goals of Volunteering in Eco Village
The overarching goal of the Eco Villages is to make a contribution to environmental protection and to make sustainable lifestyles known beyond the projects. The deployment sites focus, for example, on self-sufficiency, green energy and a plastic-free everyday life. Another focus is on the community, learning, growing and developing together.
Requirements
You don't need to have any special prior knowledge to volunteer in an Eco Village. Of course, an interest in sustainability and environmental protection as well as an ecological lifestyle is important. If you are also motivated, willing to learn and enjoy working outdoors, nothing stands in the way of your volunteer work in the Eco Village.
