Our mission statement - that's what we stand for
Make a little BIG change - with this motto, Rainbow Garden Village has been conveying the message that is still valid for us for more than 20 years: "Achieve a significant effect with small changes".
In our developed mission statement, we have recorded how we imagine the future of Rainbow Garden Village and how we want to shape the way there.

A globally networked community in which each individual contributes to a positive development in the world and promotes personal growth through intercultural experiences.
Our mission
We inspire people all over the world to become part of our volunteer community. We prepare our volunteers for the upcoming time abroad and create the greatest possible benefit for each participant and for each project.
Our values
In order to realize our vision, the most important thing is HOW we want to achieve our goals. We are helped by values that serve as an ethical and moral foundation and as a guideline for our daily actions.
It is important to us that these values are lived by us as a non-profit organization - in Germany and in our target countries - as well as by our participants. Because only together can we achieve what Rainbow Garden Village stands for: Make a little BIG change!
Sustainability
The topic of sustainability drives us every day and we strive to continuously improve ourselves. Whether at our workplace, in the office equipment or in the selection of our projects - we try to implement social, ecological and economic sustainability more and more in our organization. A major goal that we are striving for in this context by 2025 is CO2 emissions of the flights to compensate our participants. We already compensate 100% of the flight routes to our Impact Travel trips.
Reliability
Anyone who chooses to go abroad through an organization expects reliable and trustworthy support. We guarantee this by acting and advising with a high degree of competence and professionalism. For us, reliability also means ensuring the safety of our participants by carefully selecting projects, accommodation and destination countries and their Quality check regularly. One thing is particularly important to us: We only promise what we can keep.
helpfulness
We are there for each other and support each other. We also want to inspire and motivate people to get involved as part of a community for others. Giving each other a helping hand and showing a willingness to help is not only an important contribution to society, but ultimately also an enrichment for oneself.
Esteem
We treat everyone with recognition, respect and appreciation. Our employees should feel comfortable and valued in their working environment. We also work with our teams abroad on an equal footing. And our participants should also feel that their work in the project is valued and that they are making an important contribution to society with their performance.
Transparency
For us, transparency means communicating and acting clearly, openly and honestly. Our goal is that employees, volunteers, partners - generally everyone with whom we are in contact - can understand our actions. This also includes, for example, being open about the use of funds of our participants speak.
