Selina's time in South Africa
I took part in the surf project in Cape Town for 4 weeks. I was accommodated in a hostel, where surfing is really lived, which is why it was easy to find like-minded people to surf, but also to do other things.
Work in the surf project
The project itself is not only about teaching the children how to surf, but also about supporting them in school matters, such as homework. However, the children's psyche also plays a role, and to help them with this, a kind of talk therapy is carried out from time to time. Taken together, these three things offer the children a good basis for later having a future according to their wishes.
