Volunteering in Spain

Volunteering in Spain

In Spain you can expect much more than sun, beach and siesta! Get involved as a volunteer in the areas of nature and environmental protection, in social projects or campaign for animal welfare. Due to the proximity to the Mediterranean Sea, you will of course also find maritime projects here, such as beach cleaning or dolphin and whale research projects. It doesn't matter whether you're a culture enthusiast, have a passion for sports, like to turn night into day or try your way through the local cuisine - in Spain everyone gets their money's worth!

Spain - land of the eternal sun

life in Spain

Let yourself be carried away by the Spanish joie de vivre during your volunteer work and immerse yourself in everyday life on site. Volunteering in the land of the sun will not only make you happy because active help makes you generally happy and content, but also because of the high levels of vitamin D. Due to the heat, everyday working life in Spain often looks different than you may be familiar with. After all, a longer break is often taken in the afternoon before you can continue working later - when it's a bit cooler again.

Loud and colourful

Spain is often noisy and colourful: the nights never end and you will find more people on the streets at four in the morning than at four in the afternoon. Let yourself be infected by this energy and immerse yourself in the nightlife! There is also a special highlight in Valencia: In the last week of August, the largest food spectacle in the world takes place here. Overripe tomatoes are thrown through the streets in a battle and everyone ends up bathing in the red mass.
