Giraffe in Lake Manyara National Park
Day 1 -

Arusha - Lake Manyara National Park

We start early in the morning in Arusha with our safari. After about 2-3 hours we reach the Lake Manyara National Park and go there on Game Drive. The park is home to many elephants, buffaloes, zebras, hippos, giraffes, leopards, antelopes and the almost extinct black rhinos. Lions are a bit rarer. The park's lions are known to enjoy resting in the branches of the acacia trees.

After an eventful afternoon and first encounters with wildlife in Africa, we have dinner. We stay in the village Lake Manyara Mto wa Mbu on a beautiful campsite. (F, M, A)

Day 2 -

Serengeti National Park

After breakfast we drive to the Serengeti National Park, one of the largest and most famous national parks in the world and part of the UNESCO World Natural Heritage. On the approximately eight-hour tour through the park you can see, for example, elephants, gnus, gazelles, plains zebras, African buffalos, lions, spotted and striped hyenas, African gold wolves, striped jackals and many other wild animals. In the evening we take another game drive. After this exciting day we stay overnight at the Serengeti Seronera campsite. (F, M, A)

Day 3 -

Serengeti National Park – Ngorongoro Park

In the early morning we go on safari in the Serengeti National Park. Return to the camp at 11, have lunch, and head to Ngorongoro Nature Reserve. On the way there we meet again many wild animals. Later we have dinner, and we stay overnight at the Simba campsite in Ngorongoro. (F, M, A)

Leopard in Ngorongoro Crater
Day 4 -

Ngorongoro Crater - Arusha

In the early morning we visit the impressive Ngorongoro Crater. Chances are, you'll see lots of predators today, including lions, leopards, and spotted hyenas. The crater has - according to experts - the highest predator density in Africa.

But there are also zebras, buffalos, wildebeests, antelopes, gazelles and elephants and hippos. Maybe you even meet one of the very rare black rhinos? Incidentally, the great animal migrations in the Serengeti lead through the Ngorongoro Crater. After our game drive we return to the campsite, break our tent and drive towards Arusha. We have dinner and stay at the Student House in Arusha. (F, M, A)

Hot spring in Arusha
Day 5 -

Arusha - Hot Springs - Arusha

Today relaxation is announced. We travel by public transport to the hot springs; the trip takes about 2 hours. Once there, you can swim, relax, enjoy nature and luncheon. In the afternoon we will go back to the Student House, where we will have dinner and spend the night together. (F, M, A)

Kilimanjaro Waterfall
Day 6 -

Arusha - Moshi - Kilimanjaro Waterfall - Coffee Plantation - Arusha

Also on the last day of your trip many new impressions await you. After breakfast we make our way to Moshi by public transport. After two hours drive we reach the city on the southern slope of Kilimanjaro, on the border with Kenya. There our Maasai Guide Alpha awaits us.

Alpha accompanies us to the Kilimanjaro Waterfall and to a coffee plantation where we learn all about the coffee making process and get a delicious lunch with lots of fruit. In the evening we drive back to Arusha, have dinner and spend the night again in Caroline's Student House. We let our beautiful tour come to a close with a relaxed atmosphere. (F, M, A)

Please note that the tour takes place parallel to your length of stay in the project.
