2 Days Safari in Ruaha National Park
Our jeep safari takes you right into the middle of the African wilderness. Elephants, African wild dogs, lions, leopards, cheetahs, hippos, buffaloes, exotic birds and other animals live in the huge Ruaha National Park. With a bit of luck you will see many rare and endangered animals. On our tour we cross breathtaking river and mountain landscapes, forests and savannas. The Isimila Gorge with its bizarre sandstone columns and Stone Age finds will definitely fascinate you.

Ruaha National Park
The day starts early: Against 6 in the morning we start our tour in Iringa. Meeting point is the RGV-Haus, where the other fellow travelers and the guide are waiting for you. On the way to the Ruaha National Park, there is a small breakfast. After about two hours drive we reach the park entrance and the safari can begin. Watch elephants, giraffes, hippopotamuses, lions, buffalos and many other fascinating animals! You have enough time for that, because we spend the whole day in the park. We also cross small rivers where we see crocodiles. At lunchtime we eat our packed lunches. In the evening we drive back to Iringa. There we end the eventful day with the common pizza meal. (F, M, A)
Note: For the journey to Iringa from Dar es Salaam or Arusha you should plan one day. The trip with a coach costs about 10 Euro.
Isimila Stone Age Site & Hike
After a leisurely breakfast, head towards XIMUMX towards Isimila. In Isimila we visit "Stone Age Site" - well known for Stone Age finds and bizarre sandstone formations in a gorge.
At a nearby campsite we stop for lunch. Well-fortified, is then the three-hour hike in the surrounding mountains nothing in the way. The Hike offers you great views and photo opportunities. The day is rounded off with a delicious barbecue in the RGV-Haus. (F, M, A)
