What is Erasmus+ ?
Erasmus+ is a European Commission program that supports education, training, youth and sport. It is not to be confused with the European Voluntary Service. Since 2021, the program has been readjusted to make participation easier.
The aim of Erasmus plus is to promote the international academic mobility of individuals and to expand cooperation between schools or similar educational institutions.

Where can I complete an Erasmus+ program?

Who is Erasmus+ suitable for?
You can participate in the Erasmus+ funding program Female students from all disciplines and all types of higher education institutions. Why is Erasmus+ worthwhile for me?

How do I find a suitable internship position?
In order to be able to take part in the Erasmus plus program, you need a confirmation from your internship position or, ideally, an internship contract. When choosing your Erasmus plus internship, keep in mind that it is closely related to your studies or your overall professional qualifications, so that it is eligible for Erasmus+ funding. This means that you should find out about your areas of responsibility in advance. This is not only important for your application documents, but also for yourself, because you know from the outset what to expect from your internship abroad.
In order to find a suitable position at all, you have many options. On the one hand, when looking for an internship, you can use the Help from your university or vocational school accept. How long can I be funded by Erasmus+?
Student
Studying abroad can only be funded by Erasmus+ if it lasts at least 3 months, but has a total duration of not exceed 12 months. If you decide to do an internship abroad as a student, an internship duration of 2 months is sufficient, although the 12 months must not be exceeded here either.
With Erasmus+ you can in every study cycle (bachelor, master, doctorate) multiple promotions received as long as the total duration of all your stays is less than one year (e.g. for two times six months).
However, if your course consists of only one cycle (medicine, state examination), you have the option of up to 24 months to be supported during your studies or internship abroad.
Apprentices and young professionals
As an apprentice or young professional you can work in a company abroad from 2 weeks do an internship. The maximum duration is allowed here no longer than a quarter of your entire education last. However, your training period will not be extended by your stay abroad and you will continue to receive your monthly salary. As a career starter, you must have completed the internship within 12 months of completing your training.
Students
