Zanzibar city
Day 1 -

Dar es Salaam - Zanzibar City

Our island adventure starts at the port of Dar es Salaam. We board a catamaran speedboat and two hours later we land in Stone Town, the old town of Zanzibar City.

The pretty houses in Stone Town with Swahili, Indian, Arabic and European elements are reminiscent of the eventful history of Zanzibar. Stroll through the narrow streets and look into the small shops, which offer eg colorful scarves and African handicrafts. You can also find exotic spices in the shops such as cocoa, clove plants, fresh pepper, ginger - not for nothing is Zanzibar called "spice island".

We check into our accommodation and go to the Food Market in the evening for the famous Sansibari pizza. If you're still fit after that, you can make the pubs of Stone Town unsafe with your new friends.

boat trip
Day 2 -

Giant tortoises, coral reefs

In the morning we take a look at the winding streets of Stone Town and visit the historic slave market.

In the afternoon, we charter a boat that will take us on an approximately one-hour cruise across the ocean, past the islands of the Zanzibar Archipelago, to the prison island. There we meet a colony of Aldabra giant tortoises that make a great photo opportunity. Then we continue to snorkel in the fish-rich, colorful coral reefs around Zanzibar.

In the evening we will have a taste of it in an Arabic restaurant.

You stay in a lodging in Stone Town.

Colobus Monkey
Day 3 -

Jungle, national park and beach

Today we start the day with the Spice Tour, which takes us deep into the Zanzibari jungle. We look at cocoa and clove plants and try ginger, fresh pepper and other spices.

Then we head to the Jozani National Park, where we meet the unique, endangered red colossus monkeys. After this great nature experience we continue to the beach to Kizimkazi. There we spend the night and look forward to new adventures the next day.

You spend the night in Kizimkazi in a hotel on the beach.

Snorkeling in the sea
Day 4 -

Blue Safari and fishing village

In the morning we equip ourselves with snorkels and fins and go on a day trip to the Indian Ocean. This takes us to a beautiful lagoon landscape. We stop on an island for lunch.

The so-called Blue Safari is a renowned snorkeling excursion that operates out of Kizimkazi. Accompanied by experienced guides, we explore the impressive underwater world in the crystal clear waters. Fascinating coral reefs as well as dolphins and turtles can be experienced up close here. The Blue Safari offers unforgettable experiences for both experienced snorkelers and beginners.

The rest of the day we spend on the beach and enjoy the relaxed atmosphere in the small fishing village.

You spend the night in Kizimkazi in a hotel on the beach.

Day 5 -

Beach, Stone Town and Night Ferry

In the morning we'll chill out on the beach before heading back to Stone Town. There you have enough time to buy souvenirs in the markets and to stroll through the city.

In the evening, after sunset, we take the ferry back to Dar es Salaam. We dock in Dar es Salaam early in the morning around six o'clock after an eventful holiday.

Please note that the tour takes place parallel to your length of stay in the project.
